BOOSTER BASH (DINNER/AUCTION):  Chair a committee of volunteers who will organize and carry out the dinner/auction fundraiser. This is the largest fundraising event of this organization. The chairman will work with the board of directors to determine a date and location. Event coordinator will develop and monitor sub committees to coordinate promotion of the event, ticket sales, donations, publications, volunteers and record keeping.

CHAIRPERSON (s) The Booster Bash, an auction/dinner fundraiser usually the last Saturday in April, is the Booster Club's largest fundraising event.  The chairperson or persons of this committee work with the club's directors to determine a budget, create an event timeline, solicit donors, coordinate donations, recruit volunteers and assign jobs for them.  Chairperson or persons work with administration and staff in promoting the event, mailing ticket and donor forms and donation pick up. The majority of event coordination and planning takes place January-April.

VOLUNTEERS:  Coordinate promotions of the event, ticket sales, seek and collect donations, prepare publication of bid book, create auction displays, assist at the event.  Bash committee volunteers will attend 3-4 planning and coordinating meetings for the purpose of soliciting donations in the form of follow calls, ticket sales and seating arrangements,preparation of the bid book, creating and set up of auction displays and assisting at the event. The majority of this event coordination takes place from January-April.


BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP/SPONSORSHIPS:  Obtains business/community sponsorship in assistance and support of LEBC's purpose and mission statement.


COMMUNICATIONS: Provide current information to Booster membership via:

Email: Monthly – send Booster Club newsletter to booster membership to notify of fund-raising, impart news, request assistance, etc. Email addresses are obtained from membership forms.

Website: Reviews content on website, updates as needed, ensuring "user friendly" access. Communicate and make changes as needed.


FUND-RAISING: Manage fundraising opportunities outside of the auction and spirit wear. Review the merit of fund-raising offers received by the club and bring recommendations to the board of directors. Develop fund-raising programs and recruit volunteers as needed to assist.

VOLUNTEERS: Assist chair to carry out fund-raising event when needed.


MEMBERSHIP: Yearly, review and updates correspondence/form letters/listings as needed. As permitted, compile membership information to be distributed to LEBC officers/directors/chairpersons (such as contact for volunteering, mass mailing, membership totals, etc.). Upon application, ensure distribution of membership welcoming material according to tier level. Issues membership and D117 family activities passes as necessary. Maintains membership application records as needed.

VOLUNTEERS: Assist in distribution of mailings and literature promotion of booster club at various events. This committee takes a lot of time and effort int he summer and in the beginning of the school year but tapers off after the October/November time frame.

**Looking for someone who has the ability to laminate the Family Activity passes.  Also, need assistance with the copying and mailing of the Welcome Letters and in the distribution of the Eagle Pride packages at the LCHS Open House in Sept.



POST PROM: Work with LCHS Staff Sponsor for Prom, to plan and execute an after prom activity for students who attend LCHS Prom. May need to raise funds to alleviate cost to students.

VOLUNTEERS: Assist with fund-raising, determine where to hold post prom activity.


SPIRIT WEAR: Responsible for the ordering and selling of LCHS spirit wear and related merchandise sold at LCHS events, home games, main office, and purchased on LEBC's website. Responsible for designing, purchasing, pricing, inventory, and communication with other schools and respective vendors. Accept personal checks [made out to LEBC], Visa, Master Card, and Discover cards.

VOLUNTEERS: Responsible for the set up of display tables prior to sale, selling of merchandise, tabulating item sold, providing customer receipt, collecting of monies, clean-up. Ideally, 3 to 5 spirit wear volunteers are requested at any spirit wear sales event.


STAFF APPRECIATION: Welcome, encourage and support LCHS staff. Committee shows parental and student appreciation of staff by providing periodic breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Currently several events per year, the LCHS Principal schedules dates which are most feasible to LCHS staff. Chairperson works with Communications to request food donations from the club. Chair may also seek food donations from the community.

VOLUNTEERS: Assist in set-up; serving; donations of food/drinks, and clean-up.


HOSPITALITY:  Our newest committee, Hospitality, is designed to welcome new members at an annual late summer event.  Committee members will support the Chairperson in coordinating location, food, communication of event and scheduling directors and committees to participate.  Planning occurs during the June/July period with an August event date.
